While there isn’t a guidebook on being a father, raising kids can leave a guy with plenty of stories to tell. It’s been my experience that talking with other fathers and hearing their accounts helped me look at fatherhood differently. It made me realize that fatherhood, while personal, is that much better when it’s shared. It helped me realize I wasn’t alone in the hopes and fears I had and still have. It got me thinking about the many special moments I have had as a father. It helped me understand how even the little things made a huge difference in shaping who my daughter is today.
